Elevate Southwest strives to foster an advanced regional workforce that meets the needs of current and future employers through a regional process of collaboration and partnerships to elevate and advance post-secondary and higher education access and attainment in the Greater Yuma Region.

Yuma County is taking an exciting new approach to higher education! We are working on expanding access and opportunities for our students, businesses, and community. By collaborating with higher education providers, including local high schools, we can create innovative programs and initiatives that meet the needs of our region.

The Innovation Hub
Elevate Southwest Innovation Hub in Yuma County drives economic, environmental, and workforce development. This 75,000-square-foot facility fosters collaboration among private, educational, startup, and government sectors, embodying "Work, Educate, Play, Live, and Stay."
Creating the Innovation District: The Yuma Innovation District and Hub, with satellite facilities in San Luis, Somerton, and Wellton, will drive productivity and innovation, creating an interconnected community.
